Anne Mironchik
"New Jazz Standards -- Piano
Singer/Songwriter"
"Anne has a conservatory degree in
jazz and musical roots in rock, blues and country.
Her well-crafted songs mix the simplicity and soul
of Carole King's melodies with the R&B spirit of
Laura Nyro's chords and rhythms. Weaving in lyrics
that are sensible, without being sentimental, she
explores the struggles, loves, fears and joys of
everyday heroes."

Melissa Hanes
Melissa’s work is about the conflicted relationship
with fashion imagery, - where on glossy magazines pages,
women become objects and curiosities to be studied and
scrutinized. She sees these women as existing in the
same world as birds in scientific encyclopedia-
specimens decked out in their finest plumage, awaiting
the gaze of curious onlookers.
In her own words, " I recognize the seductive power of
this medium and have chosen to alter what I believe is
the weakest part- the face. I find this part to be the
least interesting and believable- a strategic move that
forces the viewer to focus on the clothing. The
combination of these two beautiful and delicate beings
creates a bizarre and jarring hybrid. The tradition of
glamour, seduction, and pleasure of looking has been
altered".

Sky Seals
acoustic/rock/pop
Sky is one of the most
original, prolific and creative musicians to emerge
from Vivaldi's Open Microphone Night.
His lyrics deal with the harsh reality of the city
he lives in - New York. One of his most
popular and memorable special shows this year -
where he touched on a raw nerve of "Life in the
City" - was the " Anti Valentine's Day Show". It
was dedicated to all those romantics who feel that
the city lifestyle has robbed them of opportunities
for nurturing real love and meaningful
relationships.
He is a regular at Vivaldi, packing
the venue every time he performs.

a riveting story-telling style. This is one of the
